New Unity is interested in social justice issues and prepared to take a stand when we have clearly thought through the issues and come to a broadly shared understanding on the issue. Following a series of social justice forums over the past few months, the liberalisation of laws surrounding assisted suicide emerged as the issue that the New Unity congregation was most passionate about. Over the next few weeks we will be exploring and debating this issue in more depth, leading eventually to the formulation of a congregational position on the issue. This page is intended to assist in the debate by providing resources concerning the issues surrounding assisted suicide.
