Summary

New Unity is a radically inclusive community of love and justice. It is a registered charity, and the Unitarian and Dissenting communities here have been in existence for over 300 years. It once played host to iconic feminist writer Mary Wollstonecraft, and played an important role in generating the radical ideas behind revolutions around the world. Today, the community is open to non-religious people as well as religious people of any background. It hosts unique Sunday morning gatherings with spiritual and humanist elements as well as events, exhibitions and cinema events during the week, and carries out social justice work.

We are looking for an individual that is a skilled vocalist and pianist to act as our Music Director who plans our music and performs on Sundays.

What you will be doing

The Music Director will be working with the Minister to develop/present appropriate, eclectic, and diverse music for Sunday gatherings, administer the music budget responsibly, coordinate with musicians within the congregation and guest musicians to participate in the music programme, prepare and submit in a timely manner information for the weekly order of service.
