Please note: this event takes place at our temporary 2019 home, Newington Green Primary School. Find out more about the move here.
We’ll be meeting this month on the second Sunday of the month between 1pm and 3pm, just after the Sunday Gathering in the Oak Room at Newington Green Primary School.
Newcomers welcome and those with babes in arms! Anyone who identifies as a woman or is identified by others as a woman is welcome. We always seek to share our feelings and reflections in a safe, confidential, and supportive space. Want more info or have a question? Contact Alex Jelly and Candice Pettifer, co-facilitators, at womensgroupnu@gmail.com.
The theme of this meeting will be “Social media: how to use it well?”
What are your favourite apps? How do we each use social media and for what aims? How does it improve things for us and what are the pitfalls? How can we guide young people in their use of it? What behaviours can we adopt to get the best from technology? Learn from women of all ages about technology and how we each use it.
It will be an opportunity to swap tips in this area and avoid problems. It will take place between 1pm and 3pm in the Oak Room at Newington Green Primary School. Please bring a packed lunch. (We need to keep the classrooms clean and free of crumbs so please bring either food that doesn't produce crumbs to share or just something for yourself.)
