Sunday Gathering: 'Coming Out'

‘The Power of Coming Out Stories’

Adam Slate, Minister-elect

To mark national Coming Out Day, which takes place Saturday, 11 October, we will consider both the rewards and risks of sharing aspects of ourselves with the outside world. This conversation will highlight how people from the LGBTQ+ community in the 20th century have helped open doors for all of us to express ourselves more openly. After the Sunday gathering, we’ll enjoy a potluck lunch followed by a newcomer orientation/Q&A session.

Children will join in the sanctuary and leave for their programme after the first hymn.

Attend either online or in person at the Newington Green Meeting House, 39a Newington Green, London, N16 9PR (fully accessible). Go here for more information and the Zoom link, and here for directions to the Meeting House.
