'Why Black History?'
Dr. James Chiriyankandath & Adam Slate, Minister-elect
October marks Black History Month in Great Britain. Why is looking at Black-centred history important today, and to our future? For this Sunday gathering we will hear about contributions to Unitarianism made by Humanist Unitarian preacher Robert Wedderburn. James Chiriyankandath is a senior research fellow at the University of London and an Elder at Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel.
Children will join in the sanctuary and leave for their programme after the first hymn.
Attend either online or in person at the Newington Green Meeting House, 39a Newington Green, London, N16 9PR (fully accessible). Go here for more information and the Zoom link, and here for directions to the Meeting House.
