As part of the annual Visit My Mosque weekend, we will attend the Finsbury Park Mosque open house. We’ll leave from outside the Newington Green Meeting House at 1pm and travel by public transit. From the mosque’s invitation:

We are delighted to invite you to our 14th Annual Neighbourhood Open Day on Sunday, 5th October 2025. As part of the national #VisitMyMosque initiative, we look forward to welcoming hundreds of guests from all walks of life to this special community event.

This year’s Open Day carries even greater importance. In light of recent challenges—including far-right riots and hostile demonstrations targeting minority groups—events like these are a peaceful and powerful way to bring communities together, celebrate unity, and stand up to hate through understanding, dialogue, and kindness.

What to Expect on the Day:

• Guided tours of the Mosque

• Interactive exhibitions

• Short educational films

• Henna and Arabic-style name calligraphy

• FREE goodie bags and message of kindness

• Special stalls from Islington Council and Islington Police

• Light refreshments and warm conversations

We are proud to have been part of the #VisitMyMosque campaign since it began, and we remain committed to building bridges between people of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds.
