Sunday Gathering: ‘The Arc Is Still Bending Toward Justice’

‘The Arc Is Still Bending Toward Justice’

Wayne Hsiung

Could the world be on the brink of dramatic progress toward justice? That very question might seem silly, or even offensive, in light of the rising tide of violence across the globe. But the famous words of Unitarian minister Theodore Parker – “The arc of the universe bends toward justice!” – are as prescient today as they were in 1853. Seminarian and attorney Wayne Hsiung, a long-time organizer for climate justice and animal rights, sets out reasons why our civilization is on the brink of a moral revolution – and how you can be a part of it.

Children will join in the sanctuary and leave for their programme after the first hymn.

Attend either online or in person at the Newington Green Meeting House, 39a Newington Green, London, N16 9PR (fully accessible). Go here for more information and the Zoom link, and here for directions to the Meeting House.
