Sunday Gathering: The Hands that Held Our Chalice: Ancestry, Responsibility, and the Light We Keep

The Hands that Held Our Chalice: Ancestry, Responsibility, and the Light We Keep

Roberta Wedge

This service will explore how our Arts & Crafts period chalice, once hidden and then rediscovered, connects our congregation to ancestry, beauty, and shared faith. It will trace the story of Judaism in England—from exile to renewal—reflecting on flowing water, light, and responsibility. We inherit not possession but covenant: to honour memory, protect neighbours, and keep the flame alive.

No Kids Club programming until 11th January 2026 due to winter break; all are welcome in the chapel!

Attend either online or in person at the Newington Green Meeting House, 39a Newington Green, London, N16 9PR (fully accessible). Go here for more information and the Zoom link, and here for directions to the Meeting House.
