“The Welcome Table”

Most of us are moved by the metaphor of the welcome table, which through the ages has represented extending warm hospitality to others. Yet we can still struggle with who to invite in and how to extend the invitation so that others feel welcome to accept it. This Sunday gathering will include a short child naming and dedication ceremony to welcome new children into our community.

New Unity can be hired for private baby namings; however, we are also having a naming ceremony as part of the gathering to welcome children into the New Unity community. If you would like to participate with your child, contact Adam, Minister-elect, at adam@new-unity.org by 18th September.

Kids will join in the sanctuary and leave for their programme after the opening welcome and first hymn.
