‘Gathering Waters’
Adam Slate, Minister-elect
A community comes together in the same way that water from tributaries join each other on the way to the sea, and in this way the members of the community become part of one whole. At this Sunday gathering, we will introduce a water ceremony where we are invited to bring water from a place that is meaningful to us, or from our summer travels, to combine with water from others in the congregation.
Attend either online or in person at the Newington Green Meeting House, 39a Newington Green, London, N16 9PR (fully accessible). Go here for more information and the Zoom link, and here for directions to the Meeting House.
Bring a small amount of water from your summer adventures (or symbolically use water from a pitcher we'll have) to join with water from others. An all-ages, family-friendly gathering.
There will be no Kids Club today; all are welcome in the chapel for this all-ages gathering!

After the gathering on 7th September we’ll share a potluck lunch in the Mary Wollstonecraft room.
Please bring a vegetarian lunch item, and we'll have paper to note what’s vegan, gluten free, etc. It’ll be possible to reheat food in the ground floor kitchen.
We'll have our usual coffee hour sweet snacks available too.
