A Q&A will follow. Helen Yuill, a New Unity member, worked in Nicaragua during the Sandinista government and the US backed 'contra' war of the 1980s. Rev Jim Corrigall, former London district minister and retired journalist, was active in the struggle against apartheid for more than 20 years, both in his native South Africa and abroad. Peter Turner, a New Unity congregant, was in France in 1968 and saw firsthand the widespread protests, strikes, and civil unrest that shook that country.
