‘At What Risk?’ (Anniversary Service) – Rev Adam Slate

Three-hundred and fifty-nine years ago, our New Unity forbears began worshipping in secret, and even when they started to worship openly, their theology was not considered legal for about a century. Later they took the risk of identifying as Unitarian. What risks do we take today to be part of an active faith community in a culture where faith is embraced less and often treated with suspicion? At this service we will also have a short ceremony to celebrate new members.
