The Global Justice Discussion Group is a monthly space at New Unity to make sense of events happening in our fast-changing world, share how we’re thinking and feeling about them, sit with the discomfort, and to ask what a values-led response might look like. Each month we'll take one issue as our focus and unpack the facts; share our emotional and moral reactions; and explore what personal, communal, and political responses are available to us.
No expertise required — only a willingness to show up, listen, think, and talk together. All perspectives that engage in good faith are welcome.
The general session format will be:
Short presentation to introduce the topic and related issues (15 min)
Questions from people who are new to the issue (15 min)
Open, facilitated discussion (up to 1 hour)
